The Hammer is a tool used to break stones, rocks, boulders, and mine walls. It can also be used as a weapon.
Use[]
To use your Hammer, press your "Use Tools" button (default Z on keyboard, X on X-box gamepad). You will notice your starter hammer will go through two steps before it actually hits the ground. This is its charge time. Unlike other farming games, you can actually move while you are charging your tool. This can be especially useful when using your Hammer to fight mobile enemies.
[]
The Hammer is also used in Mining. To mine, you must go to The Mine. Mining is the act of hitting the Mine walls with you Hammer. When you hit the mine walls, they will flash white. When you destroy the mine walls, there is a chance of a resource dropping. The lower you go in the mines, the higher quality resources you will find.
