Perks

Perks are rewards given for leveling up your character. There are 35 perks to choose from, though some require certain skill levels or other perks before they can be acquired.

	Animal buddy		No animal will attack you unless aggravated. Be warned though, not all enemies are animals.
	Animal cult	Husbandry 9	No domesticated animal can resist your charm. Affection given to animals is increased by 30%.
	Animal pull	Husbandry 6	When you will it, animals simply gravitate towards you. The speed with which you lead an animal is doubled.
	Animal rigging	Husbandry 3	Even you can't explain how it works, but it does. Giving a sick animal food from a recipe containing at least three ingredients can heal it. Goodbye medicine!
	Chef I		You gain knowledge of 10 simple cooking recipes.
	Chef II	Chef I	You gain knowledge of 10 moderately difficult cooking recipes.
	Chef III	Chef II	You gain knowledge of 10 expert cooking recipes.
	Crop jackpot	Farming 9	These crops just keep coming! Each time you pick up a crop in your farm, there's a 10% chance you can pick another one from the same plant.
	Crop protection	Farming 3	Your crops are much less likely to be damaged by extreme weather, and just planted crops are less likely to be washed away by rain.
	Crop resilience	Farming 6	Your crops just don't know how to quit. On the first day of a season, off-season crops have a 50% chance to yield fruit one last time.
	Cropsferatu		Eating a raw crop will restore health equal to 50% of what stamina it restores.
	Dash attack	Fighting 3	Attacking with an axe, hammer, hoe or sickle while running will cause you to perform a dash attack.
	Deep treasure	Fishing 6	When fishing, you will occasionally catch something unexpectedly valuable.
	Gatherer		Like the first humans, you make the most of your foraging. You can pick twice the amount of seasonal items like mushrooms and apples.
	Ground slam	Fighting 6	Attacking with an axe, hammer, hoe or sickle while doing a dash attack will cause you to do a 360 degree jump spin and come down crashing, damaging everything around you.
	Hardy I		You can endure more exertion. What is your secret? A healthy breakfast? A different outlook on life? A gained level? Who knows! Your max Stamina is increased by 10 points.
	Hardy II	Hardy I	You can endure even more exertion. Whatever it is you do, it seems you have taken it to the next (perk) level. Your max Stamina is increased by another 10 points.
	Hardy III	Hardy II	You are a rare specimen among common people. You can plow your entire field in a single afternoon and not break a sweat. Your max Stamina is increased by yet another 10 points.
	Hoarder		You need more space for your stuff. You gain 2 additional inventory slots for your items and tools.
	Insulated		There is no such thing as 'too hot' or 'too cold' for you. You are immune to all negative weather effects.
	Mine cleave	Mining 3	You break mine walls so brutally that nearby walls can't stand it. Every time you break a mine wall, there's a 20% chance an adjacent wall (not diagonally) will break too.
	Nemo		You have sailor blood running in your veins. Sailing speed is increased by 50%, and your oxygen capacity is also increased by 50%.
	Night vision		You have cat-like qualities, and while you don't wear leather tights or brandish a whip, you can see better in the dark.
	Night visitor		You are welcome at the oddest of hours. The time most houses close for the night is pushed further by 2 hours.
	Rambo		It's a matter of style and western propaganda. Wearing any headband increases your protection by 3 and your damage by 10%.
	Relativistic fishics	Fishing 3	You experience time dilation when a fish bites, increasing your time to react by 30%.
	Stamina thief	Fighting 9	Is it the result of schadenfreude or intense meditation skills? Each enemy you defeat slightly restores your stamina.
	Stone Sense	Mining 5	All these hours spent underground have given you mole-like qualities. You can sense the approximate location of a mine's ladder to the next level.
	Thick skinned I		If you weren't a human, you would be a hippopotamus. Your protection is increased by 10.
	Thick skinned II	Thick skinned I	Mosquitos can't bite you any more. Your protection is further increased by 10.
	Trojan horse		You know how to gift 'em, you know how to please 'em. The second gift given to the same villager within a day has its effectiveness reduced by 20% instead of the normal 50%.
	Unstoppable		Nothing can slow you down. Not spider webs, not even the heaviest of armors.
	Vigorous I		It's more difficult for you to catch the common cold. Your max Health is increased by 10 points.
	Vigorous II	Vigorous I	Your body can withstand more punishment than what's normally expected from it. Your max Health is increased by another 10 points.
	Vigorous III	Vigorous II	You can bleed from every orifice and still keep going. Your max Health is increased by yet another 10 points.
